connect with amazing causes

Animosa does more than design women's adventure gear – we also give to and partner with some amazing causes.  We hope you'll join us in supporting these inspiring organizations!

Getting Girls and Women Outdoors

The Cairn Project's adventure-driven funding model supports programs that expand outdoor and wilderness opportunities for pre-teen and teenage women.  The organization's small grants increase the impact of local programs getting young women out backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and more.

The Cairn Project's co-founders Sarah Castle and Alison Wright launched their organization in conjunction with a thru-hike of the John Muir Trail, catalyzing outdoor adventure into a force that "gives back."

Defending Public Lands

Founded in 1974, Oregon Wild has been instrumental in securing permanent legislative protection for some of Oregon's most precious landscapes, including nearly 1.7 million acres of Wilderness and almost 1,800 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers.  The organization's wilderness, old-growth forest and clean rivers/watersheds programs protect pristine drinking water, unparalleled recreation opportunities, and fish and wildlife habitat across Oregon.  Animosa's founder, Kate Blazar, serves as Vice President of the Oregon Wild Board of Directors.

Animosa currently supports nonprofit organizations that take girls and women outdoors, defend public lands, or support menstrual health.  If your organization is interested in partnering with us or is seeking donations and fits within one of these categories, please email us at
